Publication Error Statements

Created On: 19 February 2026

At the Journal of Nutritional Research & Dietetics (JNRD), we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and reliability in the scholarly record. Despite rigorous editorial and peer review processes, errors or omissions may occasionally occur. In such cases, the journal follows a transparent and timely procedure to correct the literature in line with best practices and the guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Error Identification: Reported errors or inaccuracies in published articles are reviewed and verified by the editorial office.

2. Correction Process: When an error is confirmed, the journal will take appropriate corrective action. This may include publishing a correction notice (erratum/corrigendum) and/or updating the online version of the article, while maintaining the integrity of the version of record.

3. Notification: Correction notices will clearly describe the nature of the error and the changes made. Where appropriate, authors and relevant parties will be informed of the corrective actions taken.

4. Retraction: In cases involving serious errors, unreliable findings, or ethical concerns, articles may be retracted or may receive an expression of concern in accordance with COPE guidelines.

5. Transparency: All post-publication updates (corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern) will be issued transparently and will remain linked to the original article.

6. Prevention: The journal continuously improves editorial workflows and quality checks to minimize errors and to strengthen publication integrity.

7. Contact: Readers or authors who identify potential errors or concerns are encouraged to contact the editorial office at editor@nutritionalresearchdietetics.com.

8. Acknowledgment: The journal acknowledges the importance of author and reader vigilance in identifying errors and appreciates their cooperation in maintaining the integrity of published research.

This Publication Error Statements Policy follows internationally recognized best practices and COPE guidance to support the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of the scholarly record.
